An important part of our mission at Delta Dental of Virginia is to improve the oral health of all Virginians through research, education and access to care for the underserved. Good oral health is more important than ever, as research continues to demonstrate the link between oral health and overall health. In support of our mission, we developed Delta Dental’s Smart Smiles, our public benefit outreach program.

Smart Smiles has three primary areas of focus: oral health education, delivery of oral health care services and community support. Find out more about each program below.
